At the Sabauda Galleria in Turin, the exhibition dedicated to Lenci ceramics and the Ferrero collection called for a display design in which conservation principles and artisanal sensitivity blend seamlessly. Paschetto oversaw the entire implementation process, transforming the museographic design by Studio Loredana Iacopino Architettura into a technical masterpiece.
Advanced materials and precision craftsmanship
The main challenge was to create supports capable of highlighting the fragility of the historic ceramics without overshadowing them. Paschetto’s approach centred on high-precision construction solutions:
- Curved and lacquered MDF: The use of curved, seamless surfaces discreetly guides visitors through the exhibition, creating a neutral environment that is ideal for conservation.
- Metalwork and Structural Glass: We have incorporated powder-coated metal structures with safety glass panels, fitted with retractable opening systems to facilitate maintenance and visitor access.
- Specialist Lacquering: Every wooden and metal component has undergone a controlled lacquering process to ensure colour consistency and the absence of harmful emissions from the works.
